Many buyers like to be within walking distance of Main Street for its shopping and multitude of restaurants and luxurious real estate spread throughout the hillside.

 

Old Town Park City comprises the majority of the area from award-winning Historic Main Street, over to Park City Mountain Resort. From there, continue to the Park City Municipal Golf Course and back toward the charming City Park. Largely as a result of historical preservation, Old Town has retained its small, old-western mining town charm. Park City, Utah has been crowned the best-preserved mining town in the West.

 

Properties for sale in Old Town include both historic and newly-built single-family homes, condominiums, townhomes, condo-hotels or condotels, and fractional shares. The streets of Old Town are full of old mining homes that have been completely renovated and many of the 19th-century homes, boarding houses, and schools remain as registered historic structures.

 

Popular areas within walking distance to Main Street and PCMR are Woodside Ave, Norfolk Ave, and Empire Ave in Old Town. For some of the most desirable real estate in the area you can find ski-in ski-out homes on portions of Woodside Avenue above High West Distillery and at the newest development King’s Crown.

Worth mentioning is the recent preservation of the hillside overlooking Old Town, namely the Town Lift area. The town’s character and charm remain, thanks to the people of Park City along with officials and landowners.
