The Park City Ski season of 2022-2023 is just around the corner, and it will be here before you know it! This article highlights some of the best upcoming events, which lovers of winter sports and fun should not miss.
Opening Dates

Park City Mountain is pleased to announce that the mountain will open on Nov. 18, 2022. They have planned exciting mountain enhancements and activations, including new dining and après experiences at Canyons Village and family events throughout the season.
In an effort to prioritize the mountain experience for guests and make indoor operations more normal, daily lift ticket sales will be limited throughout the 2022-23 season.
New This Season
Canyons Village will offer enhancements to the dining and après ski experience this winter. Enjoy lunch or dinner on a brand-new outdoor patio at Red Tail Grill. This new snow-melt patio outside Orange Bubble Express and Red Pine Gondola will be the perfect spot for meeting up with friends after a day on the slopes. With seating for 100, Red Tail Grill's patio features traditional patio tables and soft seating around fire pits, large hearth fireplaces, and bar-style seating.
The new beach area will include heated pavers for your comfort, fire pits for nighttime enjoyment, and soft seating areas for relaxation. This new beach area will facilitate access to the slopes from the Canyons Village.
Parking & Safety Protocols
Park City Mountain will launch a parking reservation system at Park City Mountain Village. This will allow for better guest service, less congestion, and enhanced access to the mountain. Parking will remain free in the Cabriolet Lot at Canyons Village, Park City High School (on weekends and holidays), and High Valley Transit Park-n-Ride locations.
This season, local resorts will not require face coverings, vaccines, or dining reservations. They do not intend to have any of these measures in place at this time, but they will continue to monitor the changing dynamics of the pandemic. However, employees will continue to complete daily health screenings, and resorts will still apply enhanced cleaning practices.
