The Canyons Village Management Association (CVMA) board has recently voted to sign a joint funding agreement with Vail Resorts to construct a state-of-the-art 10-passenger gondola at Park City's Canyons Village. This new addition aims to address the increasing demand for out-of-base capacity and provide an exceptional experience for skiers and visitors alike. Connecting Canyons Village
The forthcoming 10-passenger gondola will span a remarkable distance of 6,512 feet, linking the south end of Canyons Village to the Red Pine Lodge. Skiers and riders will have the opportunity to enjoy a convenient and scenic journey while being transported 1,103 vertical feet between the village and mid-mountain. The gondola's route will gracefully cross the existing Over and Out quad, adding to the thrill of the experience.
Enhancing the Skiing Experience
With the completion of this exciting project, Park City skiers will have three exceptional lift options to choose from, further elevating their skiing adventures. The new Sunrise Gondola, alongside the existing 8-passenger Red Pine Gondola and the four-passenger Orange Bubble Express chairlift, will provide skiers with increased accessibility, speed, and comfort. Strategic Location
The bottom terminal of the new gondola will be conveniently situated near the highly anticipated Pendry hotel, offering seamless access to the village and its amenities.
