TCFC, the primary developer of Canyons Village, has recently revealed a proposal for a state-of-the-art multi-level parking garage, set to replace the Cabriolet Lot. This new facility will offer more than 1,800 covered parking spaces and will be strategically located adjacent to the existing cabriolet in the Lower Village area, at the southeast corner of the Lower Village Road and Frostwood Drive/Canyons Resort Drive intersection. The aim is to eliminate various surface lots across the village and alleviate traffic congestion.

Situated conveniently off S.R. 224, the garage is designed with multiple entrances and a four-lane drop-off area to ensure a seamless morning arrival experience. The ground level will feature a pedestrian plaza, serving both as a gathering space and offering easy access to various transit options. The garage's aesthetic appeal will be enhanced by glass escalators and a charming natural pine exterior, combining functionality with visual allure.

Pending approval from Summit County, the project will unfold in three phases:

  • Garage Construction
  • Enhancement of connectivity between the parking garage and an upgraded transit center, complete with gathering spaces, restrooms, and landscaping.
  • Expansion of public gathering spaces and commercial opportunities.

Construction is slated to commence in 2024, with a targeted completion date in time for the 2025/2026 ski season. Further details about the project can be found HERE.
