With the arrival of snow in various parts of Utah, winter sports enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the start of the ski season. Thankfully, seven Utah resorts will be opening soon, and you won't have to wait much longer. Park City Mountain, Snowbird, Woodward Park City, Snowbasin Resort, Alta Ski Area, and Brian Head Resort are all set to open next month.
Meanwhile, most other Utah resorts have announced their opening dates for early to mid-December. However, Brighton Resort, Powder Mountain, Cherry Peak Resort, and Beaver Mountain have yet to reveal when they'll be welcoming skiers to their slopes.
Here are the current opening dates for the 2023-24 winter season, according to Ski Utah:
- Alta Ski Area – Opening on Nov. 17
- Beaver Mountain – To be announced
- Brian Head Resort – Opening on Nov. 10
- Brighton Resort – To be announced
- Cherry Peak Resort – To be announced
- Deer Valley Resort – Opening on Dec. 2
- Eagle Point Resort – Opening on Dec. 15
- Nordic Valley – Opening on Dec. 2
- Park City Mountain – Opening on Nov. 17
- Powder Mountain – To be announced
- Snowbasin Resort – Opening on Nov. 24
- Snowbird – Opening on Nov. 30
- Solitude Mountain Resort – Opening on Nov. 17
- Sundance Mountain Resort – Opening on Dec. 2
- Woodward Park City – Opening on Nov. 17
